THE US TRADE RELATIONSHIP WITH ITS TRADING PARTNERS WILL CONTINUE TO ADVANCE IN 2022

Adrián González, a member of the Mid Valley Customs Brokers Association (MVCBA), explained that during this 2022 the seventh amendment of the harmonized rate will come into force, in addition to other regulations and the modernization of the ACE platform.

However, there is still more, the progress of the commercial relationship between the U.S.A. and its trading partners will continue, such as China with section 301 and 302 tariffs, Europe and Japan in steel and aluminum, and Mexico and Canada with the relationship in the USMCA and tax credits in electric cars.

Finally, regarding the supply chain and Covid, progress will be seen in supply chain disruptions, with some analysts forecasting an improvement for the second half of the year.
